I love the Marathon! We have four of them. Yes, four. =) Two kids, two cars. As much time as we spend in the car, it was worth it. We've traveled with them as well; in fact, we have one of Gillian's with us here in PA right now. Gotta love LATCH.
Be so glad you are taking videos! The babble turns into actual words so fast! I love the babble stage. Jon and I always said we didn't take enough video of Zach. (even less of Ryan...hmmm... need to get our video camera out!)
That is exactly the car seat I want to get - when my babe ever gets big enough.

We've got 4 Britax seats (2 Marathons and 2 Roundabouts) for our 2 cars - and gave 2 Roundabouts to our daycare lady. All used via Craigslist - we love those seats!!!
He sounds just like LG when he talks!
We haven't upgraded carseats yet.
