Maggie Maternity Review and Giveaway!

On Saturday night, Mike and I went to see the local production of Peter Pan. Before we left, Mike took pictures of me in one of my new maternity tops from Maggie Maternity. Unfortunately, I'm not the most photogenic pregnant model... I didn't know my smile could get this big...

That said, I definitely have to rave about these clothes! I was sent the Maggie Summer Box and I am very impressed by the comfort, style, and quality of their clothes! The set I received is made of a jersey knit fabric that is soft and washes well. There is definitely something to be said for higher end maternity clothes. These items put the majority of my maternity wardrobe (from Target clearance) to shame! Even Mike has commented on how nice the pieces are and how great they look (these photos don't do the clothes justice...). The best part is, I can pair them with my more economical pieces and create a great, comfy look.

In the picture above, I'm wearing a maternity top from Target (I wore it when I went to the hospital to deliver Bo) and the black pants from my Summer Maggie Box. The pants are sooooo comfy!! They will definitely be put to good use throughout this pregnancy.

The best part is, Maggie Maternity wants to pass some savings on to you. Just enter the code, BL2009T to save 10% off any order. They have some adorable dresses *love this one* that would be perfect for a wedding or shower! Plus, I've already raved about the Maggie Summer Box!

Maggie Maternity has also graciously agreed to giveaway a $50 gift certificate to one lucky reader! All you need to do is head over to Maggie Maternity and then leave a comment telling me what you would buy if you are the winner!

Playmobil Review and Giveaway!

Bo is a very lucky little boy! Last week, the mailman delivered a big box to our house, with new toys for Bo!!
Playmobil sent Bo one of their 1-2-3 playsets to review and blog about. Since Bo doesn't type yet (or talk really...) he asked me to document his reaction to the toys to share with all of you.
The 1-2-3 sets are designed specifically for younger children -- ages 1 1/2 - 5 years. There are several different sets and the pieces are big enough not to be a choking hazard and made of colorful plastic. The toys are very well made and we'll let Bobo's expression tell you what he thought...

He loved them! It was a nice day outside so we opened the box out on the back porch and Bo spent the rest of the afternoon playing happily with this new playset. Bo received playground set and he loved the little people and quickly learned how to push them down the slide and set them on the rocking dinosaur.

The most amusing part of the set is the flower. Bo brought it over to me and I smelled it. He quickly picked up on what was I was doing and it is so cute to see him smell the flower, then bring it to me to smell it again. We will definitely be buying a few more sets for our little guy -- I've got my eye on the meadow and possibly the zoo for Bo's Easter Basket.
Playmobil has graciously provided FOUR 1-2-3 sets for FOUR lucky readers! All you need to do is head over to Playmobil and then leave a comment telling me which 1-2-3 product you'd like to win for your little one.

Bumkins Review and Giveaway!

I am a huge fan of Bumkins products. I've exclusively used Bumkins bibs since I discovered them when Bo was 6 months old. They reduce my laundry load because I do not have to wash them after each wearing, plus, they are waterproof and have a little pouch on the bottom to keep at least some of the food from falling on the floor. Bumkins bibs are a genius invention.

This is a shot of the inside of my diaper bag - snacks, diapers, wipes, a bib, a change of clothes, travel silverwear, a few toys, a book. You'd be amazed at all of the things that are in there...

I'll be the first to admit that I never expected to carry this much gear for such a small person...

I recently switched to a new diaper bag and when Bumkins sent me this Waterproof Quickee Bag I knew it would make my diaper bag much more organized. Yay for my anal retentive side! :)

I can fit 6 diapers (size 4) and the wipes in this bag and it keeps the diapers from floating all over the bag so I don't have to dig for them when it is time for a change! What a great idea! I also love that the bag is waterproof -- so if you have a major mishap, you can take the diapers out and stuff soiled clothes inside. Typically, I have Ziploc bags for this, but I have had an instance where I forgot to restock the Ziplocs, and this would have been perfect. It's washable, waterproof, and helps keep my bag organized! What more can I ask for?? :)

Bumkins has graciously agreed to giveaway one Waterproof Quickee Bag to a lucky reader! All you need to do is head over to Bumkins and then leave a comment telling me what color Quickee Bag you would choose!
