iKookie Review and Giveaway

iKookie recently sent me one of their adorable "Bee tees" for the girls. It is way too small for Bo, or I am sure he would wear it! He had a few bees who wanted to go swimming with him in his kiddie pool the other day and he wanted to pick them up. Ugh! "Bee" is a fun word for him right now though and he thought the shirt was cute. :)

iKookie has numerous cute items and all of their products are 100% organic. Their prices are also very reasonable which makes buying cute clothes even more fun!! :) As an FYI to friends and family reading this review -- anything from here would be great for the girls. :)

iKookie has agreed to giveaway a t-shirt of your choice to one lucky Sticky Feet reader! All you have to do is visit iKookie and comment with which tee you would like to win and the size.

Boob Nursing Wear Review and Giveaway

You may remember I reviewed Boob's Maternity wear awhile back. They recently contacted me and asked if I would be willing to review their nursing wear as part of Breastfeeding Awareness Month - which is this month - August!

Boob sent me two great pieces to try. I received the dress above in gray print and the tank shown below in black.
I'm very proud that I was able to breastfeed Bo for his entire first year. My little guy never had a drop of formula. I hope to breastfeed the twins exclusively as well -- but I know it will be much more time consuming and difficult -- especially with my Bobo running around! That said, I plan to give it my best effort and cute, stylish clothes like these definitely increase my motivation!

Both pieces have the hidden flap that keep your tummy covered but allow you to breastfeed (I hate showing my stomach when I'm nursing! It looks bad enough after pregnancy as it is...) And if you've ever tried to breastfeed wearing a dress, you know that it can be quite challenging unless the dress is cut appropriately.

While I've wondered if I should wait until the end of August (the girls may be here by then!) to review this so I can have pictures of myself in these outfits, one thing that was pointed out to me is that these items do have a lot of stretch. While my stomach is quite large, I am able to fit into both of these pieces now -- albeit, I still do not want to post pictures of myself in them at this point!! Considering my belly is already measuring over 40 weeks, I think I'm allowed!

That said, both of these pieces could be worn during pregnancy and then carry over into nursing. This is something to keep in mind if your budget is tight -- as these pieces are expensive. However, the quality of their products makes it a worthwhile investment.

In honor of breastfeeding awareness month, Boob has graciously offered to giveaway one of the dresses shown above ($155 value!) to one lucky winner! Just comment on this post telling me what size you would like and why breastfeeding is important to you. (BTW: The dress is cute enough to wear even after you finish breastfeeding!).

Daisy Chain Maternity Yogi Belt Review and Giveaway

These pictures are of my twin belly at 28 weeks, sporting a Daisy Chain Maternity Yogi Belt.

Daisy Chain Maternity sent me this Maternity Yogi Belt to review. Since I'm not into yoga and haven't been able to exercise much during this pregnancy, I am not sure what I would wear this belt for besides general support.

As you can see in the pictures, the belt looks a bit silly with my normal, every day attire and isn't something I would wear outside the house. Also, since I really haven't had any issue with support during the pregnancy, it just isn't one of those products that I found useful. However, if you work at a job where you are on your feet a lot and need extra support, I can see how a product like this one would be beneficial.

Overall, this product gets a "meh" from me, but I can see how it would benefit others.

Head Snuggler

Have you ever fallen asleep in the car only to wake up with a stiff neck? Or for your head to bounce and wake you up with every twist and turn? Can you imagine what it is like for our little ones to try to sleep in car seats? No wonder they are fussy after long drives!

Bo was recently sent a Head Snuggler from Melrose Kids to test and review. I wish I could say that it worked like a dream but my little guy isn't a fan of sleeping in the car. I took the photos below during what should have been nap time on Thursday when we were driving from my doctor's appointment in Champaign to Peru.

As you can see, Bo was much more interested in playing "peek" than sleeping with his head back. Unfortunately, we didn't get a nap out of him at all during that car ride. :(

That said, I do think this is a great product and would be beneficial for children who aren't quite so opposed to sleeping in the car. Heaven knows I could use an adult version for my naps in the car. I always wake up with a stiff neck.

I am giving away one head snuggler to one lucky Sticky Feet reader. All you need to do is leave a comment on this post!
